Having a rather strange day- can't yet decide if it's good or bad. Drove down to Milwaukee, to Mayfair mall, and went shopping... one of the few girly things I actually enjoy doing.
Now, I don't wear name-brand clothing, as a rule, and you couldn't pay me enough money to go in Abercrombie and Fitch
(SIDE STORY- A little bird who worked in the head department of the mall reports that all the teenagers who work at Abercrombie, Hollister, etc... are a certain brand of children who think that they are better than everyone else- the actual adults who work in the rest of the mall, apparently, find them disrespectful, haughty, and crass.
So it's not just me.)
Discovered this new store... never seen nor heard of it before, so, here you go, if anyone's interested.
It's called Dry Goods. The interior design is just marvelous, with victorian lettering and columns and they have vintage typewriters, cashregisters, sewing machines, and these adorable little glass jars of spools of thread.
Oh, and they sell clothes- pretty ordinary clothes, too, but that doesn't matter. The decorating is SPLENDIFOROUS!
Check it out- the picture on this page is the store I visited today. [link]
Okay, kidding, no one actually cares about that.
I have also lost my cellular device- at a friend's house, I suppose. Only problem is, I, stupidly, have no other copies of said friend's, or any other's, phone numbers... except those in aforementioned cellular device. Dilema?
I think so.
I'll just wait for one of them to... figure it out...
Meanwhile, my world is odd and tilted, and I have a certain freedom without the damn thing.
Enjoy your day!
